From the Pastor's desk.....
Tomorrow, Sunday, May 10, at 10:30 am, we will be open for church service! It has been an interesting past two months as we have had to "stay-at-home" because of the Covid-19 pandemic. But we are now able and ready to resume our church services. However, it will be a little different as we practice safe and healthy actions.
But this is nothing new. I am reminded that after Moses died, the Hebrew people were frustrated, confused, and fearful about their future. The Lord had chosen Joshua to succeed Moses. God instructed Joshua to "go forward" and lead the people into the Promised Land. He was to do so courageously. Some of the people did not want to follow Joshua, others did not want to go into the New Land, and still others wanted to turn and go back to Egypt. In order to calm their fears, God gave them this wonderful promise, "Be strong and courageous.....do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
As we "re-open," as we navigate through the "new-normal," let us do so with courage and caution, knowing that God is with us. BE STRONG - BE COURAGEOUS!
